Brampton’s mice exterminator said that as the weather in Toronto gets colder, we turn on the heater and light the fireplace to make our house warm and comfortable, and the rodents hope to get warm. Even if they build nests outdoors, they like to build nests indoors. Norwegian rats build nests in walls, spaces between floors, ceilings, and debris. Roof rats nest on the ground in trees, especially unpruned palm trees, piles of wood or debris, vine-covered fences, and piles of wood. The landscaped environment overgrown with weeds is also a popular nesting area.

A mouse can pass through a nickel-sized hole, and a mouse can pass through a coin-sized half hole. Before the temperature starts to drop, we clear out the nests of possible rodents and seal their internal and external holes to prevent these rodents from building nests near our houses. All items can be found in your local hardware store, such as steel wool, caulking, slatted screens, cement and hardware cloth.

Rats not only bring terrible smells and filth into the house but also carry serious diseases. Therefore, when the first signs of pests appear, they should be eradicated from the house. To illustrate my point, I will introduce various diseases transmitted by mice.

Mice can also spread tapeworms. Rats accidentally ate contaminated food and became infected with parasites. If humans eat food that contains contaminated mouse feces, they will be infected. This usually happens after people touch mice or mouse feces and then neglect to wash their hands thoroughly before eating.

There has never been a single mouse in a family, and don’t think about other ideas. Mice can breed throughout the year, and only one female can produce five to ten cats per year. Mice Expert in Toronto said “in an average of 6 to 8 babies per litter, and a family of 6 mice can reproduce 30 in two months”.

Due to the risk of diseases associated with mice, cleaning up their bowel and urinary nests or spots is a process that should not be taken lightly.

If you want to control them, you must think like a mouse, paying attention to the behavioral characteristics mentioned earlier. Before any traps occur, the best way to control mice in the home is to prevent them from entering the home. The bones of mice are highly flexible and can even squeeze into any small openings “one inch small”, so you must seal every opening you see in your home to prevent them from entering.
